The World Health Organisation promotes vaccination as one of the most effective ways to prevent disease. Recognising vaccine protection against more than 25 debilitating or life-threatening diseases, including influenza, measles, polio, tetanus, diphtheria, meningitis, tetanus, typhoid and cervical cancer. So, why is a percentage of the Australian population still 'missing out' - placing themselves or loved ones at risk of serious diseases, disability, ill health or death?
