One of the many benefits of celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) each year is the collective energies of women and men coming together to support, encourage and inspire one another.

In 2022, the UQ Regional Training Hub Southern Queensland is proud to host an IWD event to celebrate local homegrown medical professionals and to share their personal stories of challenges and successes in their chosen professions.
Our inspiring panel of UQ RCS Alumni will touch on topics:

  • Career Progression - practice pearls to overcoming career challenges
  • Work-life balance - myth or mastered?

Panel members and UQ RCS Alumni:

  • Dr Sarah Ayles, Emergency Medicine Registrar
  • Dr Bernadine Bart, Consultant Emergency Physician
  • Dr Elizabeth Hayem, General Practitioner, Carbal Medical Services
  • Dr Anna Taylor, Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine

Panel moderators:

  • Dr Sheree Conroy, Director of Clinical Training, DDH and Head, UQ Regional Training Hub Southern Queensland
