Eloise Wiffen is getting her first real taste of medicine in a clinical setting as she undertakes her First Year Observership opportunity in Hervey Bay, as part of The University of Queensland (UQ) Doctor of Medicine Program.

For many students studying medicine with The University of Queensland (UQ), their First Year Observership opportunity takes them on a two week adventure in an unfamiliar setting, but local Bundy boy, Geoffrey Mallet has instead returned home.

Medical students at The University of Queensland Rural Clinical School (UQRCS) Hervey Bay proudly presented six doctors with 2020 teaching awards in a ceremony at the Hervey Bay Hospital recently.
