To become a Urologist, you will need to apply for fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). The responsibility of the administration of Urology Surgical Education and Training (SET) has been delegated to the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ).Fellowship is a minimum 5 year (full time) pathway and consists of:
SET 1 Core surgery in general skills
SET 2-4 Advanced clinical urology training
SET 5 Advanced urology training – progressing to independent clinical practice
