The University of Queensland Rural Clinical School (UQRCS) is recognised nationally and internationally for its impactful interprofessional multi-disciplinary research in rural health. The UQRCS Research Group leads this transformative work, addressing the unique health challenges of regional, rural, and remote communities. The diverse and comprehensive research program tackles issues ranging from medical workforce development to clinical trials and health services research. With over 50 annual peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, the UQRCS Research Group's studies promise impactful results that can influence both local and global healthcare.

This year marked a significant milestone with the commencement of the MRFF-funded study aimed at creating innovative models for health service delivery in rural and remote areas. Additionally, our success extends to securing major consultancy projects that align with our expertise in rural and remote health research. Within these projects, our research group takes the lead in evaluating rural health policies and programs, ensuring effective program design.

In addition to our research endeavours, we provide support to UQRCS staff, students, clinicians, and stakeholders operating within our catchment areas. Our assistance encompasses guiding them in scientific research, integrating students into ongoing research projects, and collaborating with partners to address their specific research needs.

None of these accomplishments would be possible without the invaluable support of our partners and stakeholders. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who collaborated with us. As we move forward, we remain committed to advancing research that addresses critical healthcare challenges in our communities.
